Made Alive in Christ

In Ephesians 2, Paul speaks about how believers were dead in transgressions but were made alive with Christ through grace. He stresses that salvation is by grace through faith, and not by works, so that no one can boast. He also describes the unity of Jews and Gentiles in Christ, breaking down the dividing wall of hostility, and creating one new humanity out of the two, thereby making peace.
