For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands,
2 Timothy 1:6 ESV

You're not always going to feel like carrying out your mission. You won't always feel that God is near. Sometimes you need to buckle down and persevere, and sometimes you need to fan your own flame for motivation.
