My mom has been gone for three years. Tonight I pulled out a nothing-special bottle of wine that I bought at the Target on State Street in Chicago, a few blocks from my mom’s place, back around 2018. It was on clearance, as we all are, eventually. Love you, Mom, and love how something simple takes me back.
