Riding along and heard this yelping and hollering. Found this guy acting all strange, leaning against the railroad bridge. Saying something about Butcher Creek. I assume that's where is from or where he was headed. So I throw him on my horse and take him there.
Met a guy named Obediah Hinton says he knows the feller. Weird feller's name is Lemuel. They both talking something about the darkness. Weird folks in that little place, but seemed harmless enough.
