Why we need to stop the cycle of government shutdowns

I wanted to basically just complain about the current "Government Shutdown", and talk about how Government shutdowns in general are really just political stunts and theater, and childish. I know I'm not saying anything groundbreaking here, but yeah we really need to get a 'common sense' middle party. Both sides are way too polar opposite and divided, these shutdowns have to stop and shouldn't be even legal. They at the very least should guarantee federal workers pay, and keep other stuff going during their childish tantrums at each other.
