Titus 3:3, being led astray and deceived. At one point in time, this was everyone's past (and maybe some of everyone's past still comes and goes today, even though the past may repeat itself less and less over time).
Titus 3:3, being consumed by passion and desire.
Titus 3:3, being consumed by envy and strife. Being upset when other people are better off. Being momentarily happy at the demise of people who were the envy among their peers, before becoming unsatisfied or bored with life again.
Titus 3:3, being destroyed by sin. Being motivated by hatred and working hard to destroy other people, while risking all of one's life or risking all of other people's lives.

Titus 3:4-6, SALVATION: being saved from deception, destructive lust and passions, envy, strife, sin, hatred, etc. by the mercy of God alone.

Titus 3:7-8, Matthew 5:16, God's free gift of salvation. This is the gift God wants everyone to see.

Titus 3:7-8, Ephesians 2:8-10, God's purpose for everyone: to live their life to the fullest in a way that reveals what God's salvation looks like (spread the love of God).
