Suspect Sought After 1 Man Killed, Another Injured From Shooting In Brockton Massachusetts

Authorities say a man was killed in a shooting at a Brockton, Massachusetts park on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, the 40-year-old victim was taken to Brockton Hospital after being shot at Finnegan Park around 4 p.m. He later died from his injuries. His name has not been released.
No arrests had been made as of Tuesday night, and officials confirmed that the case remains under investigation.
Earlier in the day, Brockton police reported that two people had been injured in a shooting near Crescent and Montello streets — the same area where Finnegan Park is located — around 3:55 p.m. Both victims were hospitalized, one with life-threatening injuries. Police said only one of the two was shot, but it was not immediately clear how the second person was hurt.
The Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office has taken over the investigation from local police.
