AEW Dynamite 10/22/25 gave us chaos, confusion, and the slow, painful decline of Mercedes Moné’s promo game. Let’s break it down like only WE can—brutal honesty, no fluff.

🔻 Trios Title Match: The Opps (Shibata, Hobbs, Joe) vs. The Hurt Syndicate (Lashley, MVP, Shelton). Fine match. Joe won with the Coquina Clutch, then gave a heel turn promo where his big reason for turning on Hangman Page was… “because I could.” Wow. Deep, Joe. Real deep.

🔻 Darby Allin talked. He rambled about taking AEW to “new heights” while the company hits record-low ratings. Maybe take AEW to the dentist first.

🔻 4-Way Women’s Tag Match: Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata won with the Hayteraid. Match was a spot-fest, no story. Just moves, then a pin. AEW booking 101.

🔻 Mercedes Moné “12 Belt Celebration” — easily the worst segment of the year. A puppet? A fake voice? Lame jokes? This was cringe at elite levels. Thankfully, Kris Statlander ended it with cake and a table. Probably saved her from total embarrassment.

🔻 Moxley vs. Kyle O’Reilly was solid until Mox punched the ref while in an ankle lock. Match thrown out. Fun, but what was that ending?

🔻 The Conglomeration (Briscoe, Cassidy, Roddy) beat Death Riders. J Driller ends it. Decent action. Post-match brawl with PAC and Ishii went on way too long and turned into a messy pile of bodies.

🔻 TNT Champ Kyle Fletcher spoke. Mark Briscoe asked for a rematch. Fletcher said no. That’s it. Total waste of air time.

🔻 Main event: Kazuchika Okada retained the AEW Unified Title over Bandido with a Rainmaker. Fun match, good energy—Okada always delivers.

Another Dynamite where AEW tried to be edgy and ended up looking silly. Mercedes needs a rewrite. Joe needs a real reason. And AEW needs a new direction.
