Black enrollment at many elite colleges dropped this fall

Analysis by the Associated Press shows that Black student enrollment at elite colleges dropped this fall after steady increases over decades, and that some schools' Black enrollment was as low as 2% of incoming freshman classes.

One exception is Smith College, where the number of enrolled Black students has risen.
