How Jesus Lived - Healing and Restoration

Subject: When Jesus speaks, restoration follows.

In the past few messages, we’ve seen faith reach toward Jesus and compassion reach back.
Now, in Mark 1:42, we see what happens when His words meet our wounds:

📖 “Immediately the leprosy left him, and he was made clean.”

One sentence — and everything changed.
That’s the power of a willing Savior.

“Immediately” reminds us there’s no delay in His authority.
“The leprosy left him” shows that bondage has to flee in His presence.
“He was made clean” reveals that Jesus doesn’t just heal what’s broken — He restores what was lost.

📖 Isaiah 1:18 —

“Though your sins are scarlet, they will be as white as snow.”

When Jesus says “Be made clean,” no shame, sin, or past identity can argue otherwise.

💭 Reflection:

What in your life still needs Jesus’ healing word?

Do you believe that His power to restore is greater than your past?

How can you bring His restoring love to someone else this week?

📖 1 John 1:9 —

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

The same Jesus who spoke over the leper still speaks over you:
“I am willing. Be made clean.”

Next, we’ll see His compassion at work again — this time bringing life to the brokenhearted in Luke 7:11–15. 💛
