The middle ground crumbles beneath our feet everv dav that media remains untrustworthy. This is a recent case I spotted of the "parallel reality" between mainstream media and social media. There are plenty of cases where you can find the political-left's narrative supported by mainstream outlets and the political-right jumping down a rabbit hole on X.
