AOTR URGENT ALERT: **Search Underway for Missing Umatilla Tribal Member

The Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation (CTUIR) are urgently seeking public assistance in locating Wesley Dixon Jone, a tribal member who has been missing since the late afternoon of October 5.

In a press release issued Friday, October 24, the Umatilla Tribal Police Department (UTPD) announced a targeted request for video footage from residents with road-facing cameras. The areas of interest span from Short Mile Road east to Cayuse Road, including River Road, and from Cayuse Road east to Bingham Road on the Umatilla Indian Reservation.

UTPD Detective William Morris stated that police have already canvassed these regions but are now asking community members to check their footage from October 5 and submit any relevant clips to the UTPD Evidence Submission Portal. Those with information or footage can also call the UTPD at 541-278-0550 or reach Detective Morris directly at 541-969-7139.
