Episode 7 Synopsis (The Sword's Owner):

Griffith and Guts are injured. Griffith uses this in his political machinations; getting closer to the nobles and the King. He also subtly flirts with the King's daughter.
Guts and some of the Hawk's members feel that Griffith is pulling away from them.
