Berserk (1997) - Episode 10 - "Noble Man"

Episode 10 Synopsis (Noble Man):

Guts assassinates Julius, but also kills his son Adonis, due to him being a witness to the killing.
Guts becomes emotionally scarred by this evil deed.
Later on, he overhears Griffith state the following: "For me to call a man my friend, he must be equal to me in all respects" - implying that a true friend for Griffith, would need to be an individual that stands by their own ethics, and not follow him blindly.
This single statement by Griffith, inadvertently catalyzes an inescapable fate for Guts - a fate so indescribably cruel, it would likely drive any ordinary soul to commit suicide.
