The Book of Ephesians Chapter 6

The Armor of God

In the final chapter of Ephesians 6, Paul gives instructions for children to obey their parents, and for slaves to obey their masters. He famously introduces the Armor of God, urging believers to put on the full armor to stand against the devil’s schemes. He describes each piece of the armor, which includes the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit. Paul concludes with greetings and a benediction.
