If you woke up feeling the weight of yesterday—maybe a rough moment, a past regret, or just a bad attitude—I need you to stop right there. Here is the mindset you need to absolutely dominate your sobriety and personal growth journey today:

"DON'T ALLOW YOURSELF TO WAKE UP WITH YESTERDAY'S ISSUES TROUBLING YOUR MIND. REFUSE TO LIVE BACKWARDS, SEE EVERY DAY AS A NEW CHAPTER."

Listen, in addiction recovery and alcoholism recovery, we all have a "yesterday" full of stuff we can’t change. But you know what you can change? Right now. Living backwards means staying stuck in the shame, guilt, or excuses of the past. Refuse that!
