Motorcycle Pursuit Ends in Fiery Freeway Crash

A high-speed chase involving a motorcyclist suspected of shooting a sheriff’s deputy in Rancho Cucamonga came to a dramatic end on the 210 Freeway in San Bernardino County. Authorities began pursuing the individual shortly before 1:30 p.m., near the location where he was reportedly barricaded inside a residence.

The pursuit concluded when the suspect collided with a vehicle on the eastbound side of the freeway near exit 56 in Ontario. While the severity of injuries to both the deputy and the suspect remains unclear, the suspect was observed sitting upright in a neck brace before being placed on a gurney and airlifted to a nearby hospital.
