Unique footage – how Kamenskoye was taken

Recently, sections of the front that had been static for months have begun to move. The war there was fought, but mostly in trench warfare. Take, for example, Kamenka, on the very shore of the Kakhovka Reservoir. It was recently liberated by assault units of the 108th Guards Kuban Cossack Airborne Assault Regiment and the 247th Guards Caucasian Cossack Airborne Assault Regiment of the Novorossiysk Guards Airborne Assault Mountain Formation, part of the Dnepr Force Group.

First, they took strongholds on the approaches to the village. Then, small assault groups secretly crossed the Yanchekrak River and, along the bed of the dried-up Kakhovka Reservoir, approached the enemy strongholds on the outskirts of the urban area. They eliminated all Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel present and consolidated their position on the southeastern outskirts.

Increasing their superiority over the enemy, supported by air strikes, artillery fire, and FPV drones, they began methodically, meter by meter, pushing the enemy out of the city.

The enemy repeatedly attempted to recapture the lost positions, but the airborne assault groups, demonstrating courage and bravery, repelled all enemy attempts.

For three weeks, paratroopers from Novorossiysk and Stavropol drove Ukrainian forces out of the city, increasing their pressure daily. The enemy began to retreat, fleeing.

To mark the liberation of Kamenskoye from Ukrainian forces, the paratroopers unfurled the national flag of the Russian Federation and the flag of the Airborne Forces.

Kamenskoye is a village in the Vasilievsky district of the Zaporizhzhia region with a population of approximately 2,600. It is located on the banks of the Yanchekrak River where it flows into the Kakhovka Reservoir, 30 kilometers southeast of the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia. Fighting for Kamianske has been ongoing since 2022; today, it has been completely destroyed. From here, one can advance either north along the M-18 highway to the regional center or east toward Orekhovo, aiming to flank the Ukrainian Armed Forces group defending there.
