➡️ “Focus on God’s promises more than your problems,” Pastor Robert J. Morgan reminds us. In this sermon, he discusses practical biblical strategies we can use to overcome the daily stresses we face. In chapter one of the Gospel of Luke, Mary mother of Jesus and her relative Elizabeth are living through some anxiety-inducing situations, but Pastor Rob reveals five tactics they teach us for dispelling stress: aligning our will with God’s, creating Christ-centered friendships, inviting the Holy Spirit to work in us, maintaining a posture of faith, and practicing consistent praise. Like these women, we don’t have to be overwhelmed by anxiety; instead, we can conquer fear and stress by cultivating a friendship with the Lord.
