Thanksgiving and Prayer

In Philippians 1, Paul starts the letter with greetings and thanksgiving for the Philippians, acknowledging their partnership in the gospel. He expresses confidence that God will complete the good work He began in them. Paul also shares his own situation, explaining that his imprisonment has actually advanced the gospel. He joyfully asserts that Christ is being proclaimed, whether from false motives or true, and this brings him great joy.
