How Jesus Lived - Jesus’ Compassion in Our Lives (Reflection & Devotional)

This week we’ve walked through Mark 1:40-42 — a simple story with eternal truth:
A man full of leprosy fell before Jesus and said, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.”
Jesus was moved with compassion, reached out, and touched him — saying, “I am willing.”

📖 Mark 1:41-42 (CSB)

(41) “Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out His hand and touched him. ‘I am willing,’ He told him. ‘Be made clean.’
(42) Immediately the leprosy left him, and he was made clean.”

That same compassion still moves today.
He sees your pain. He reaches into your story.
And He’s still saying, “I am willing.”

📖 Colossians 3:12 (CSB) — “Therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and dearly loved, put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.”

Let’s take what we’ve learned and live it out:

Look for the one who feels unseen.

Speak hope into the weary.

Let love interrupt your plans like it interrupted His.

📖 1 John 3:18 (CSB) — “Little children, let us not love in word or speech, but in action and in truth.”

When we show compassion, we carry the heart of Jesus into the world. 💛
