Apple vs. Credit Card Company: Who’s Lying?

Daily Video 10/29/25

In the long version of this video—and yes, there are two versions. YouTube claims that shorts can be up to 3 minutes long, but I haven’t experienced that. Whenever I post anything above 60 seconds, it automatically gets relegated to the full-length category. Ironically, TikTok, the distraction app founded on the shortest videos possible, now actively wants you to break the one-minute mark. Huzzah for consistency—you’ll hear a little more snark in my tone.

I’m pretty sure I know exactly who’s lying.

I asked the Apple customer service rep point blank: “Did you reject my credit card, or did my credit card company deny service?”

She was slightly evasive.

My credit card rep, on the other hand, was completely straightforward, and slightly confused by the thought they’d blanket-reject charges by an entire company.

So, yeah.

I ask a question in this video, but I’m pretty sure that Apple didn’t like getting called out on their fraudulent charge.

I could absolutely be wrong, but that’s the impression I got after speaking with both companies.
