Russia tests nuclear-capable Poseidon super torpedo, Putin says

President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday (October 29) that Russia had successfully tested a Poseidon nuclear-powered super torpedo that military analysts say is capable of devastating coastal regions by triggering vast radioactive ocean swells. Putin, drinking tea with Russian soldiers wounded in the Ukraine war at a hospital in Moscow, said that the test had taken place on Tuesday.
