We need to talk. Today, I typed the 2 words, “mycotoxin induced” into a huge medical research website with millions of papers (pubmed.com) and their search engine offered 16,837 research papers linking mycotoxins to many symptoms and diseases. Only fungi make mycotoxins and as these papers attest, mycotoxins injure and kill people daily. Yet, sadly, the study of mycotoxins is not part of medical training. When a doctor sees “allergic to penicillin,” I see “mycotoxin poisoning that may be fatal.” Please join me on Wednesday 10/29 from 2-3PM CT (NOT 1-2PM), and I will review some of our very common exposures to these mycotoxins in our air, food supply and medications.
