Nick Smith’s Grandpa Buys Him a Radio Show — and They Lie About Tony Mitchell LIVE!

Walker County just witnessed the most embarrassing “interview” ever aired on local radio. Sheriff Nick Smith and his great-great-great-great-grandfather, Charles “Mr. Burns” Bishop, went on Country Legends 88.5 FM for a paid segment — and it shows.

Bishop brags, “I’m paying the bills,” then lies through his dentures saying Tony Mitchell was “on drugs.” That’s a lie. Tony Mitchell was killed by the system, not by addiction.

Then Nick Smith jumps in claiming, “I’d put our jail in the top 15 in the state.”
Top 15 in what, Nick — lawsuits? Deaths? Corruption?

And if that’s not bad enough, he actually said, “Sometimes I see why elected officials aren’t transparent.”
Let that sink in. The Sheriff of Walker County just admitted he understands why public officials hide the truth.

This “interview” was nothing more than a scripted PR stunt paid for by Grandpa Bishop’s wallet.
Walker County — you deserve truth, not paid propaganda.
