Flying Deuces, 1939

Oliver is devastated to learn that Georgette, the inkeeper's daughter he has fallen in love with, is already wed to Francois, a handsome Foreign Legion commander. He enlists in the Legion and takes Stanley with him in order to forget her. They are ultimately accused of desertion and given a firing squad punishment as a result of their mistakes. They flee aboard a pilfered aircraft, but after a crazy journey, they crash.
