Biography:

In 1995, Sebastian attended his first bunker parties and discovered his love for electronic music. He finally started DJing in 1998 under the name Sebastian Keks.
A 100% vinyl DJ with complete dedication, his sound is influenced by 1990s techno.
Sebastian is difficult to categorize, playing various subgenres between 125-150 BPM.
While VINYLISMM can be classified more in the realm of electronic music and tech house to minimal, SEBASTIAN KEKS is clearly techno, ranging from melodic to old school to hard techno.

Sebastian and his twin brother founded the crew Umweltpumpe1 in October 2000, which limited itself to techno events in its early years.
In 2002, Umweltpumpe1 became a small techno label (Up1 Records).

Sebastian was resident DJ at Triebwerk Dresden from 2004 until it closed in 2013, and played at TW until it finally shut down in 2017.

In 2014, he launched the event series
Berlin Techno and Nachteulen (Night Owls).

Member of SUT - Secret Underground Techno since March 2024

In 2005, umweltpumpe1 organized the first party under the name “Gepflegtes Klopfen” (Cultivated Knocking) at Triebwerk Dresden, followed by others in Germany and Poland.

In 2024, another project was launched:
Gepflegtes Klopfen series, a podcast channel.

Starting in June 2025, with its own radio show—Kekscore moments—
on Evosonic Radio, airing every first Saturday of the month.
