Psalm 55- The King Wept Barefoot, David’s Shadow of Christ

This Psalm is deep and so much symbolically to meditate on.
Although I don’t agree with Robert Hawker on many things in his commentaries, his heart for Christ always impresses me and this commentary is one example.

Many tears when I realized the part of David barefoot covering his head (with his people) …humbling himself as he walked over mount Olivet (Gethsemane) and how it mirrors Christ and David, a typology of Christ ❤️🙌 The prayer of our Lord that night before He gave His life for us.
