Heat Treating the Thunderstorm Generator & Chatting with Annealing Consultant George Lush

I was lucky enough to tag along for a visit to the Local heat treating facilities in Melbourne, Australia - Hills Heat treatment - with international heat treating consultant and managing director of Lush Heat Treatment in the UK - George Lush - along with Michael Akras of Akras Industries. The purpose of the trip was to drop off a small batch of new hemispheres to be annealed - which is a heat treating process which needs to be ideally performed on the Thunderstorm Vajra - the stainless steel nested concentric spheres, which make up the primary reactor of the system. The part where carbon becomes oxygen.
I had a good further chat with George while we were outside the annealers.
