A day at Paint Mines Interpretive Park (Calhan Badlands), Strange and Rare Colorado Landscape!

Video of my first trip to Paint Mines Interpretive Park, El Paso county. One of Colorado's strangest and most unique landscapes. Native Americans have visited this site for thousands of years, they gathered the color pigments in the clay to decorate pottery, clothing, and body war paint. Hidden on the Colorado plains, the formations and colors make this landscape feel like another planet!
