Can a Christian believe In Old Earth and Evolution? | Sam Shamoun

In this video Sam Shamoun covers if it is ok for a christian to hold the beliefs of evolution and the earth being billions of years old. Sam goes over how the historic position of the early Christians and early fathers was that they would take Genesis literally and this is always held by the church until macro evolution was brought up in the 1800s. The Bible warns about trying to appease the world by accepting these views although knowing that beliefs of how the world began constantly change and it is not right to deny Gods word because it can cause christians to lose faith.
