How Jesus Lived - The Storm Begins

Sometimes Jesus says, “Let’s cross over to the other side” (Mark 4:35), and we don’t realize that means sailing straight into a storm.
But if He called you into the boat, He already knows what’s ahead — the wind, the waves, and the victory.

📖 Mark 4:35–36 (CSB)

(35) On that day, when evening had come, he told them, “Let’s cross over to the other side of the sea.”
(36) So they left the crowd and took him along since he was in the boat. And other boats were with him.

He led them away from the crowd and into the deep — because the shore can’t teach what the storm can.

📖 Isaiah 43:2 (CSB)

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and the rivers will not overwhelm you.”

Jesus never promised calm seas — He promised His presence.
Your obedience in uncertainty is not wasted; it’s how faith is formed.

Has Jesus called you to “cross over” into something unknown?

Are you trusting His presence more than your plan?

Who might be watching your faith from another boat?

Even before He calms the storm, He’s already the peace in your boat. 💛
