🧠 WEF wants to build an 'index of trust' for your brain

At the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Councils, Nita Farahany spoke about drivers of mistrust in neurotechnology — devices that read or react to your brain activity.

She listed four key concerns:

1️⃣ Functionality – What do you gain, and what do you give up?

2️⃣ Privacy – Is your neural data treated like website cookies?

3️⃣ Control – Can you turn off brain-tracking sensors whenever you want?

4️⃣ Corporate promises – Will companies service implanted devices for life?

Now the WEF plans a “transparency card” — an index rating companies by how much their brain-tech can be trusted.
