Knowing Christ Above All Else
-------------------------------
In Philippians, 3, Paul warns the Philippians about those who insist on circumcision and adherence to the law. He recounts his own background as a Pharisee but declares that he considers all of it as loss compared to the surpassing worth of knowing Christ. He talks about pressing on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus and encourages the Philippians to stand firm in the Lord.

Scripture of the Day
--------------------
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says, "Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."
Ephesians 5:11-14
