The Future of Independent Media (Prepare for Censorship!)

The fall of what used to be called "mainstream media" has ushered in the age of independent media through the internet, blogs, and social media. This decentralization of information has been a win for truth and liberty, but it is not without its risks, explains journalist and CEO of libertysentinel.org Alex Newman at Gen. In fact, Americans should not take independent media for granted, Newman warned, as censorship is coming quickly. Print magazines and radio broadcasts, for example, should be considered as more censor-proof mediums.
