🇺🇬 At Least Nine People Killed in Uganda Landslides

🌧️ Heavy overnight rainfall triggered massive landslides in Tuikat Sub-County, Kween District, eastern Uganda.
At least nine people have been confirmed dead, and several others remain missing.

🚨 The disaster struck the Sebei subregion, where waterlogged soil caused torrents of mud and rocks to destroy homes and roads.
Rescue operations are still underway.
