Star Fleet ~ Brian May + Friends

"Star Fleet" is the debut solo single by Brian May, the lead guitarist of Queen, released in 1983.
It is a hard rock reimagining of the theme tune from the Japanese-made children's science fiction puppet series Star Fleet, which May and his young son Jimmy enjoyed watching on Saturday mornings.
The song was written by English musician Paul Bliss, and May arranged it, incorporating his own musical ideas and extensive guitar work.
The track features contributions from Eddie Van Halen on guitar, Alan Gratzer on drums, Phil Chen on bass, Fred Mandel on keyboards, and backing vocals by Queen's Roger Taylor.
