In this episode of Carlton Meyer's documentary, aired on June 5, 2025, Carlton answers the criticisms posed by Western commentators that Russia is displaying weakness and lack of capacity to "win" the war in Ukraine. The short answer is that the empiric philosophy of war differs greatly from that of other cultures. Having lived through the Vietnam atrocity, I am well versed in America's view of conquest by total destruction, in which human lives (on either side) are of no value at all. That view is not held by all peoples.
