Episode 1310: If you are a believer, you have already died and being taught how to live

Hello everyone. In this morning's Bible study we continue our journey through the seven churches in Revelation.

We are pit stopping over in Pergamos visiting the church at Pergamum. What we find therein is shocking. The Lord gives them several commendations however there are some very strong condemnations that cost members of this assembly to go astray for a period of time.

These are the deadly deceitful stumbling blocks setup in our path by the Devil and those controlled by him. They are in his kingdom and do his will whether the desire to or not.

Please do not be deceived in thinking that humans are "free" to do whatever it is that they want to do. Friend, that is not in the book.

For the believer this is what the Lord God declares.
Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NKJV)
19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

For the Devil's children this is what the Lord God declares.
John 8:44 (NKJV)
44 You are of your father the devil, and THE DESIRES OF YOUR FATHER YOU WANT TO DO. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

2 Timothy 2:24-26 (NKJV)
24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, 26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, HAVING BEEN TAKEN CAPTIVE BY HIM TO DO HIS WILL.

Do you now understand that no human lives apart from their master? Either God is your Master or Satan is your master and it doesn't matter if you approve or agree with either one.

This leads us to the error of Balaam which aligns with everything mentioned above. This is where most people are today because they have an incorrect view of God and a faulty understanding of scripture.
