Assassin's Creed Shadows - A Whisper in the Void on the Path to Kyonyo

I was seeking Kyonyo—nothing more. Another update, another plan. But then I heard the whisper of a rumor—a Gear Merchant, cloaked in mystery, without a shop, without a name. They supposedly roam, selling things not found in any normal market. Things of power. Of legend. My curiosity was piqued. Perhaps something that would aid in the battles ahead.

But fate had other plans.

The air shifted. The ground... split. A strange void, neither dark nor light, opened before me. It didn’t call in words, but I felt its pull—weightless, yet absolute. I stepped forward. I had to. Inside, the world bent around me, and then… a voice. Calm. Knowing. A Guide, they called themselves. They spoke of an enemy—something, someone, who seeks to weaken me, to take me from within. To possess my body, my soul.

They spoke of Yasuke, a name heavy with meaning yet unknown to me. The voice offered no answers, only warnings. I emerged changed—no wounds, no marks—only questions. Who is this enemy? What force has set its eyes on me? And what role does Yasuke play in all of this?

I continue my journey, but now I walk with shadows I cannot yet name.
