Destruction of Snake River Ecosystem & Idaho's Budget

Sen. Glenneda Zuiderveld goes in depth on the $11 million quagga mussel debacle that is killing more than 90% of fish and other aquatic life in the areas where liquid copper sulphate treatment is applied.

Since Idaho is the 1st to use this treatment in rivers we can only speculate when the ecosystem will return to its normal state, how it may affect dams, or impact people's health.

Sen. Zuiderveld also exposes Idaho's unbalanced budget with an $80 million deficit. We are in real trouble if we don't cut spending. David Pettinger points out the obvious solution is to cut the $80 million Launch Program which benefits Gov. Little's hand picked corporations.
Unfortunately, Gov. Little has given strict orders not to cut the education budget.
