Theistic or Atheistic Satanism? Satan doesn't care.

The existence of Satan has been disputed among Satanists for years. Atheistic Satanists view Satan as just a symbol, whereas Theistic Satanists believe that Satan is an actual spiritual entity and worship/revere him as such. Because the atheistic Satanic organizations are the ones mainly discussed in the media, it has given the impression that Satanists do not believe in Satan.

There is no truth in Satanism. Even the Theistic Satanists view Satan differently and cannot agree on his character or what he wants from his followers. Satanists say it is a good thing that they can choose what to believe about Satan, but not everyone can be right. Doesn’t it bother them that Satan lies to his followers about the very nature of who he is?

The Bible says this about Satan, “You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature, because he is a liar and the father of lies.” (John 8:44) It is the truth, and even Satan proves it by his actions.
