Mamdani's Free Buses - He's Lying!

Mamdani is lying about his campaign promise to make buses free. Governor Kathy Hochul said she will NOT raise the taxes necessary for him to implement his plan, but he's lying about so many aspects of it too. Fare Free buses were NOT faster (during his pilot program), dwell times were NOT shorter, and assaults on bus drivers were not down as you claim. Furthermore, the increase in new ridership went up for people making more than a $100k per year and went down for those making less than $28k per year. Everything he's said is a lie and we prove it by inspecting the report he advises his critics to read. Mamdani also ignores the fact that making buses free will attract vagrants and the homeless who are trying to escape inclement weather. It's been tried, and failed, in other cities like Portland, Tucson, and Kansas City.
