How Jesus Lived — “Who Is This Man?”

After the waves calmed and the wind obeyed, the disciples sat in silence — soaking in what had just happened.

📖 Mark 4:40–41 (CSB)

(40) Then he said to them, “Why are you afraid? Do you still have no faith?”
(41) And they were terrified and asked one another, “Who then is this? Even the wind and the sea obey him!”

They had feared the storm — but now they feared Him, not with terror, but with awe.
They realized the One who spoke peace to the sea was no ordinary man — He was the Creator Himself.

📖 Psalm 89:9 (CSB)

“You rule the raging sea; when its waves surge, You still them.”

This moment wasn’t just about survival — it was revelation.
Every storm you face holds the same potential: to reveal more of who Jesus is.

When we finally stop asking, “Why is this happening?” and start asking, “Who is with me?”
That’s when fear becomes faith.

📖 Proverbs 9:10 (CSB)

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.”

💭 Reflection:

What has your storm revealed about Jesus?

Are you more focused on the waves or the One who commands them?

How can awe, not fear, guide your faith today?

He still speaks.
He still calms.
He still reigns. 💛
