AC Shadows' Most Requested Feature Finally Arrived

Update 1.1.4 brings back something the AC community has been asking for since Shadows launched; the Directional Catch Ledge.

Hold towards a ledge and tap Parkour Up, and your character will catch that ledge mid-fall, preventing death and giving you a second chance. This works from any height, making it one of the most forgiving and practical parkour mechanics in the entire series.

Whether you've overestimated a grapple hook swing, miscalculated a jump, or just need a lifeline during advanced parkour sequences—Directional Catch Ledge has your back. It's the safety net that made AC Unity's parkour feel so intuitive, and now Shadows finally has it.

This single feature changes how confident you can be with risky movements.

How It Works:
