The title of this episode is taken from the title of the song All Along the Watchtower, from the 1968 album Electric Ladyland. A cover by the legendary Jimi Hendrix. Although the song was originally written by the also legendary Bob Dylan and appeared on his 1967 album John Wesley Harding, it was Hendrix's version that gained popularity and took off. Hendrix's was so outstanding that even Bob Dylan himself reportedly said that "Hendrix made the song his own."
