Human Weeds: Purge, Protect, or Perfect?

Do humans have intrinsic value? Not just to themselves but intrinsically? From a biblical viewpoint, humans were created in the image of God, meaning God designed us with His communicable attributes. Left to our own devices, human life is often devalued. One group may decide another group is inferior to them and enslaves or eliminates them. Social Darwinism in the U.S. and Nazi Germany worked to root out and eliminate the inferior weeds in Margaret Singer called, the “human garden” and thereby perfect humanity. Discussion of the need to reduce the human population is ongoing in some circles today, but who has the right to decide which humans should survive and which have less worth?
