Welcome to Adventure #17!
In this episode, we explore one of Utah’s most remarkable windows into the Jurassic world — the Moccasin Mountain Dinosaur Tracksite near Kanab.
Middle Section (trail details):
We’ll travel between Hildale and Kanab, just north of the Arizona border.
The Dinosaur Track Loop Trail starts with slickrock and winds through sandy terrain dotted with fossilized footprints from meat-eating dinosaurs like Grallator and Kayentapus.
It’s an easy-rated trail but with a few sandy stretches to keep things interesting.
Fun Callouts:
📍 Trail location: Moccasin Mountain Tracksite, Southern Utah
🚙 Vehicle needed: High clearance, 4x4 recommended
