Reddit ATTACKS the Open Internet!

Reddit has sued Perplexity for perfectly legal scraping of public data, which courts have confirmed several times is legal!

Also: Perplexity wasn't scraping for AI training (they use open source models), but for plain ol' search engine reasons!

Also also: They didn't scrape Reddit; they scraped Google's scraping of Reddit!

Also ALSO also: Reddit doesn't even own the copyright on the data they were scraping!!!

Yes, this is every bit as insane as it sounds! And it's a SERIOUS threat to the open Internet.
