A vast amount of writings have enveloped these doctrines- Confusion and disagreements abound dividing God's people. There are four different versions of the rapture. We will scrutinize the scripture carefully to try and diminish the confusion as much as is possible. It is a recent doctrine, not from the first century but 1830's based on a girl's vision. She said the vision was of a select group of believers who would be caught up to heaven before the great tribulation. It naturally appeals to pride in being the inner circle or the best of the best of believers.
